The Big Boulder Music & Arts Festival 2016
The fifth annual Big Boulder Music and Arts Festival will be taking place at the Heeley People’s Park on Sunday, September 4th, brought to you by Heeley Development Trust.
Performers on the main stage will include Black Cat White Cat, Paul Littlewood, Don Barrell Gents, Vera Van Heeringen, Julian Jones and the Angel Brothers, while the newly introduced Totally Acoustic Old-Time Session Tent will be encouraging audience participation for musicians keen to come along and get involved.
Delicious street food available will include freshly baked pizza, Indian cuisine, top quality burgers, mezze and salads, with gourmet coffee and homemade ice-cream. A fully stocked bar, supported by the Ale House and The Beer Engine pubs, will be available, with all profits to Heeley People’s Park, the largest community owned and managed green space in Sheffield.
Captain Jackdaw & the Rum Bucket will be on hand to entertain the kids with an afternoon of circus inspired wonderment, plus an array of stalls, exhibitions and demonstrations showcasing some of the best local artists and artisan crafts.
Entrance to the festival, which will be taking place from 12noon – 6pm, is free.
